120 runners lined up in Trowbridge Park for the Trowbridge Diamond Jubilee 5K, leading from the start 13-year old Will Stockley from Trowbridge triumphed over many an experienced athlete to take victory in 18-minutes and 7-seconds from Gary Eagle and Carl Davies of Avon Valley Runners. In the ladies race Sarah Jordan-Whittaker of Gillingham Trotters completed the course in 20:28, ten seconds ahead of Fiona Price from Avon Valley Runners and Elaine Dean from Swindon.

Other awards went to 1st MV40 - Richard Morgetroyd of Avon Valley Runners; 1st MV50 - Robin-Mark Schols of Frome Running Club; 1st FV40 - Ellie Vincent of Devizes; 1st FV50 - Kathy Kinsey of Avon Valley Runners.

Alethia Reid from Swindon picked up the prize for being the best fancy dress runner.
